Holy Puck, the Schedule is Out of Control

According to the "new" NHL rules, each hockey team will play eight games against each team in their division. That totals 32 of 82 games, or about 40%.

The Habs and Leafs played each other for the third time already this year. I was shocked to find out that they're playing three times in November alone. The question arises that if they're playing each other all the time, does the anticipation, rivalry, and intensity between our most bitter rivals diminish?

I don't know how I'll feel for the game at the end of this month, but I don't expect to have the same breathless anticipation I did when Montreal met Toronto for the very first time this year.

I mean, it's still hockey. I love hockey. Go Habs!
